Hello beautiful! Queen's Yarn Boutique is currently on a hiatus.

About

Hello, my name is Roshelle and I am the owner and dyer of Queen's Yarn Boutique yarns. I am often asked "Why did you start hand dyeing yarn?" I started dyeing yarn because when I went to yarn shops, I could not find the colorways that I had in my head. So, I decided to dye my own colorways! My hobby became my small business. I am not afraid of color!! The brighter, the bolder, the more vibrant...the better!! I love crocheting, knitting, sewing, latch hooking, loom knitting and other yarn crafts. I am a small-town lady from southern Virginia. I moved to North Carolina when I was 18 to attend college. My stepmother Patricia taught me how to sew, cross stitch, crochet and latch hook when I was a very young age. I am a self-taught knitter. I made the goal to start hand dyeing yarn in 2016 and finally achieved that goal during the summer of 2017.

The name Queen's Yarn Boutique was established as a limited liability company (LLC) with state of North Carolina on November 13, 2014. I got my start in the yarn world by selling wholesale yarn and crochet and knitting accessories from major yarn retailers on my eBay shop, Queen's Yarn Boutique. I also had an Etsy shop, Queen's Yarn Boutique, where I would sell handmade crochet items, project bags, stitch markers and progress keepers. In October 2017, I started selling my hand dyed yarn in my Etsy shop. I launched my own Shopify shop on December 23, 2017.

My favorite color is purple. I enjoy uploading videos to my YouTube channel. I started my YouTube channel, Queen's Yarn Boutique in August 2015. My subscribers are the best!! I also enjoy fishing, watching sports, gardening and being married to my wonderful husband Jeremy. He is so supportive!! I am a big music lover. I love listening to 90’s music, country, R&B, bluegrass, jazz, rock, big band swing…the list just goes on and on! My yarn bases are named after Prince songs. I have fond memories with my daddy Wendell listening to Prince’s Diamonds and Pearls on a cassette tape as a little girl. My shop name Queen’s Yarn Boutique is inspired by my amazing and beautiful Grandma Queen. When I grow up, I hope to be as awesome and wise as my lovely grandma.
